What service are you looking for today?
MEZAN NYX | JEWELRY MANUFACTURING HOUSE
CAD, 3D printing, die and wax for jewelry makers.
End-to-end B2B manufacturing for jewelry retailers, brands and independent designers. We work on fine jewelry only: geometric architecture and precise metal and stone setting.
What we do
Manufacturing, start to finish
CAD modeling
Rhino 8, MatrixGold and SubD models built for casting and setting.
3D printing
Closed, checked files printed as resin patterns.
Die and wax
Die making and wax patterns for consistent casting.
Common problems
What goes wrong in jewelry manufacturing
Wrong wall thickness and weight
CAD files with incorrect wall thickness give the wrong metal weight, and pieces that are too thin or too heavy.
Our check: Wall thickness and volume are checked against the target alloy weight before printing.
No casting shrinkage allowance
Metal shrinks as it cools. Without an allowance in the model, the finished size comes out wrong.
Our check: Shrinkage allowance for the chosen metal is applied to the model.
Porosity, gas bubbles, rough surface
Poor sprue layout and uneven cooling leave pores and rough textures that cost time in finishing.
Our check: Sprue and gating are planned in CAD, and the wax surface is kept clean.
Weak prongs, wrong draft angles
Thin prongs and incorrect draft angles loosen stones or break under normal wear.
Our check: Prong thickness, seat depth and draft angles are set for the stone being used.
Stiff or misaligned joints
Hinges, links and pins that are not modeled with proper clearance make bracelets and necklaces stiff or uneven.
Our check: Joint clearances are modeled and checked in the CAD assembly.
Geometry errors in .3dm / .stl files
Open edges, flipped normals and non-manifold surfaces cause failed resin prints.
Our check: Files are checked and repaired to closed, watertight solids before printing.
Technical standards
Held across every product type
- Stone setting height and light clearance
Seat height and open light paths set so the stone can show its full brilliance and fire. - Finishing and hand-polishing standards
Each piece has a defined surface finish and is hand-polished to it. - Strength and ergonomic weight balance
Structure and weight distribution checked for every ring size and piece type. - Integrity checks on lightweight designs
Slim and hollow designs are reviewed so they do not bend in wear. - Karat-to-alloy matching
The gold karat and alloy are matched to the setting for secure stone hold. - Smooth mechanisms and joints
Hinges, links and pins move freely without giving up durability.
Whether it is a ring, pendant, necklace, or bracelet — we strictly maintain these technical standards across all manufacturing stages (CAD, 3D Printing, Die & Wax).
